Thank you for participating at this year’s 2020 Las Vegas Epicurean Affair and supporting Nevada Restaurant Association’s education and scholarship program.
The Las Vegas Epicurean Affair will be held at the Sandbar Pool of the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa. A great opportunity for Las Vegas restaurants and beverage purveyors to come together and showcase their eclectic, and delicious cuisine and cocktails. This remarkable evening provides attendees an opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture and high‐energy of Las Vegas and see why this town continues to be famous for its culinary destination. Most importantly, proceeds from this event will support the Nevada Restaurant Association educational and scholarship programs, including ProStart, a national high school culinary skill and restaurant management program involving more than 3,500 students, taught in over 40 schools across Nevada. The program teaches students the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the food service industry. Students learn topics such as: food safety, knife cuts, basic booking techniques, baking menu design, basic accounting, and costing and restaurant management. With your participation, you are helping provide scholarships for those students unable to fund their collegiate culinary education.
NvRA will provide the following for participants:
One (1) 10’x10’ reserved area
Two (2) eight-foot tables with single black linen (not draping)
Two (2) chairs
Two (2) 110V 20-amp outlets (Upon request only ‐additional power may be available upon prior request at an additional fee)
One (1) small trash can (not to be used for oil or any cooking grease)
Dry goods (upon request only)
Up to four (4) booth attendant wristbands. Additional wristbands are available at a discounted price.
Health and Fire permits needed for the event.
Participants will be responsible for the following Rules and Requirements:
Must send at least one (1) representative to orientation meeting (date TBD)
Must adhere to all event rules announced at orientation and via emails
Must prepare adequate amount of food and/or beverage for up to 2,000 guests. (Bite‐ size/sampling portions)
Must keep booth opened and manned by at least one staff member for the entire duration of the event (6:00pm – 10:00pm)
May not close booth early or leave booth unattended at any time during event hours
