Hiring a Full-time or Part-time 

Las Vegas


Job Description:
greenUP! is hiring a Spanish speaking employee to work with Latinx and BIPOC businesses on environmental best practices. Candidate will work with BIPOC restaurants and home-based businesses in Las Vegas to improve their operations resulting in healthier communities for all.
Hours: Full time, 40 hour per week, salaried position or part-time hourly wage
Salary: Competitive and Commensurate with Experience
Start Date: January 8, 2024
Duration: This is a 1-2 year assignment with possible extension
Job Training will be offered.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Preferences for candidates who can write and speak in Spanish or have multi-lingual language capability
  • Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation
  • Candidates must possess strong communication including written and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Capable of working well as part of a team and independently
  • Demonstrate cultural competency and work towards developing and maintaining strong working relationships with and among a diverse group of stakeholder

Qualities Sought in an Employee:
  • Two or more year’s experience in community organizing and/or environmental work
  • Resourcefulness and willingness to self‐start on initiatives and projects
  • Highly organized in tracking documents, project results and lead generation
  • Background and/or interest in working in the environmental field
  • Positive attitude, impeccable communication, and team player an absolute must

Responsibilities Include:
  • Help recruit and work with up to 20 restaurants on programs to reduce their waste stream, reduce energy and water usage and reduce plastic waste
  • Schedule waste audits at green dining restaurants in Las Vegas to establish a baseline for measuring of all waste streams including food waste and documenting the waste diversion strategies at each of the sites
  • Work creatively on marketing social media campaigns to promote green dining in the region
  • Community building with Latinx and communities of color in Las Vegas to address environmental issues in their businesses and in their neighborhoods

Sales Representative​

Las Vegas leading seafood wholesale distributor has an exciting career opportunity for a results oriented, ambitious individual that is looking to work as a part of a competitive team.

Major Responsibilities and Tasks/Duties Of The Position
  • Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts.
  • Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products to meet their needs.
  • Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses.
  • Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and
  • demand.
  • Grow sales territory through new business by actively prospecting and cold calling.

Education/Qualifications/Experience/Skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and
  • decision making skills.
  • 12 months of sales, and/or chef/restaurant experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Computer skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and proficient ability with email.
  • Base knowledge of Seafood products.
  • Must show proven ability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships with
  • customers.
  • Able to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks and meet critical deadlines. Need to be able to make decisions based on facts, but in many cases from experienced judgment.

The position will be based in our Las Vegas, NV office located at 6065 S Polaris Avenue, so a candidate would have to live within the Las Vegas area.​
