ServSafe Manager Training - click here for more Strongly recommended for managers and front line employees The ServSafe program is the most recognized food safety training program and is accepted by more federal, state, and local jurisdictions. ServSafe courses are nationally recognized by the Conference for Food Protection (CFP) and include information to reflect the latest FDA Model Food Code. The NvRA teaches this program that is scheduled for 8-hours unless noted otherwise in English and periodically in Spanish Check registration dates for in-person training here At this time the NvRA does not offer this training online, but you can sign up through the National Restaurant Association here
ServSafe Alcohol Training - click here for more Strongly recommended for servers, bartenders, cashiers/sellers of alcohol ServSafe Alcohol is the practical and comprehensive approach to responsible alcohol service training and it meets all responsible alcohol training program requirements in Nevada This program has been scientifically developed from the knowledge of experts in the restaurant, legal, regulatory, academic, insurance, medical and law enforcement fields The ServSafe Alcohol training is the same required program such as TAM or Alcohol Awareness, but the NvRA offers it at a lower price!
Food Handler Training – click here for more Required for people employed in/operating a food establishment This training is offered online through the National Restaurant Association here and once completed, go here to the Southern Nevada Health District’s main site to set up taking the test
